Meet Catherine, our lead designer & managing director
Catherine is all about creativity and craft. With a B.S. in Fashion Studies and a minor in Graphic Design, Catherine brings a vibrant, artistic approach to all aspects of Blossom Creative. Studying Fashion gave Catherine a fresh perspective to design, aesthetics, and branding. Understanding color theory and balance is critical when it comes to designing a visually appealing and engaging website. For as long as she can remember, Catherine was not only surrounded by design and art, but also technology. Growing up Gen Z, she brings a natural tech fluency and innate understanding of user experience to her work.

A personal message from Blossom Creative owner Dori Bell
As a little girl I was the quiet, shy observer who blazed with inner life and creativity. I would organize things for fun, I’d write plays for my Girl Scout troop to perform, I’d draw and paint, and read stories to my stuffed animals. I’d even serve them tea!
Fast-forward to today, and now I use those same skills, just in a different way. I apply my creativity, intuition, writing and art skills, organizational abilities, and heart of service to my work, and find so much joy in helping people feel fabulous in and about their lives.
My career has been “non-linear” at best, and along the way I have picked up web design, digital marketing, and search engine optimization expertise, while simultaneously practicing aromatherapy over at The Blossom Bar for the past 25+ years.
I have a B.A. in English with an Art minor from James Madison University in Virginia, where the highlight of my education was the semester I spent in London – five glorious months soaking up the art, music, markets, and countryside.
Some of my favorite things: old forests, studying the feminine expression of God, the sensual delights of aromatherapy, the art of Hilma af Klint, a hot cup of Yorkshire Gold tea, and getting lost in a thick book.
For those of you as addicted to personality tests as I am, I’m an INFJ, an Enneagram 4w5, soul path number 8, a Fire Sheep, and a Capricorn with Scorpio moon and Libra ascendant.
I do hope we can create something special together.
